Capture vidéo streaming : WM Recorder

Vous pouvez soit regarder dans le code source de la page pour trouver l'URL de la vidéo, utiliser un service (keepvid, telechargeo, ForceDownload, fluvore...), où encore une extension comme Download Helper pour Firefox.
Mais aucune de ces solutions ne marche à tous les coups, notamment à cause des difficultés à télécharger certaines vidéos diffusées en streaming (comme sur wat.tv ou M6 Replay) via le protocole RTMP (streaming flash).
Enregistrer des vidéos en streaming
Je tiens donc à vous présenter 2 logiciels du même éditeur qui permettent à eux deux de réussir à enregistrer une vidéo d'internet vers son ordinateur presque à coup sûr !
Il s'agit de WM Recorder et WM Capture.
WM Recorder
WM Recorder écoute ce qui passe par votre carte réseau, et dès qu'il voit des paquets correspondant à une vidéo en streaming (paquets du protocole RTMP par exemple), il enregistre tout ça dans un fichier.
Au final, vous avez une copie parfaite de la vidéo qui se trouve sur le serveur, avec aucune perte de qualité.
Cette solution est assez radicale, pas grand chose y résiste (Dailymotion, Youtube, M6 Replay, vidéos Windows Media, vidéos Quicktime...).
WM Capture
Malheureusement, il y a des cas extrèmes ou WM Recorder ne donnera rien (vidéos diffusées sur des sites en flash, le plus souvent). Et c'est là qu'intervient WM Capture.
WM Capture est un logiciel permettant de prendre des screenshot vidéo, d'enregistrer en vidéo ce qui s'affiche sur votre écran.
Alors je sais, des logiciels de capture vidéo il en éxiste déjà beaucoup, mais aucun ne donne de bons résultats pour enregistrer une vidéo qui tourne généralement à 25 ou 30 images par secondes :
- Fraps : idéal pour les applications DirectX/OpenGL comme les jeux vidéos
- Camtasia, SnagIt : idéal pour enregistrer des screencast (tutos vidéos), où une cadence de 15 images/seconde suffit
Mais WM Capture est conçu spécialement pour enregistrer des vidéos, donc il permet de capturer à 30 images par seconde, avec un débit vidéo de 4000 Kbps, le tout en MPEG-2 (format souvent utilisé par les tuner pour enregistrer la TNT).
Il vous suffit de délimiter la zone d'enregistrement à l'aide du rectangle de sélection (makers), de cliquer sur "Record" et finalement de lancer la lecture de la vidéo.
Bien entendu, la meilleur solution est WM Recorder car il n'occasionne aucune perte de qualité, WM Capture faisant office de "plan B".
